This is the very first quilt I ever made and to beat it was traditional. I made squares of 6" and than added the photos onto the squares. This was done for Fr. Rick Gantert, who died last year on April 19th of leukemia. I miss him very much. He died 2 weeks before his 57th birthday.
I did not take any classes before this quilt was done and after taking some classes, I realize why I had such a hard time..but had some help from others and was just getting into QU. I am not a quilter but an art quilter. I do not do tradtional. I find it to me to be tedious.
